This year, my birthday is quite special. Special birthday calls for special celebration
— let’s do something truly meaningful together!
That’s why I’m inviting you, my friends, to join me
in supporting a project that I hold close to my heart
— the Children’s Art Museum in Benin.
Some of you may know that for years I have been supporting EDU Africa, an organization that promotes education and helps children in Benin grow through art.
I’ve been fortunate to visit and see firsthand the incredible power of creative activity in a child’s development.
In Ewe Condji, a small village by the ocean, the first Children’s Art Museum in the region is being built.
The Children’s Art Museum is a vibrant center of creativity, education, and community. It brings together children, teachers, local residents, and visitors through regularly held exhibitions.
It’s a place that shows how artistic expression stimulates a child’s overall development and helps transform the world around them.
It is time for the world to see it!
Help in creating Children’s Art Museum in Benin – a centre of creativity, education and promotion.
The Children’s Art Museum in Benin is being created
— a center of creativity, education, and the promotion of children’s art.
Children’s art exhibitions – showcasing artwork created by local students, art contests, and post-competition exhibitions.
Teacher workshops – training and workshops that show how to nurture creativity and holistic development through art.
Computer lab with Internet access – for children and teachers to explore the world and build digital skills.
Creative space – a studio for workshops, film screenings, and community activities that inspire both locals and visitors from other regions.
A place promoting art and the region – children’s creativity, its authenticity, and deep connection to local culture can attract visitors to Benin.
It’s a beautiful showcase of the country, its wonderful people, and their desire to make the world a better place — a celebration of genuine creativity and openness to the opportunities the modern world offers young people.
This museum will give children in Benin the chance to discover their talents, believe in themselves, and experience the joy of creating.
For many, it will be the first place where someone tells them:
“What you made is wonderful.”
Art will become their language of freedom, courage, and hope.
Through creating, they’ll learn to express emotions, think independently, and trust in their own abilities.
The museum will be an educational center that develops curiosity, self-esteem, and confidence.
This is the greatest gift — empowering children to claim their place in the world.
Because children who believe in themselves change their lives — and change the world
“Each photo tells a story of courage. Help us write the next chapter.”
Thanks to you, children in Benin will gain a space to grow, learn, and experience the joy of creating. It’s the most beautiful gift I could have ever wished for.
